Whoh, what a wait these two had to get married, 951 days and two babies later – they’re Mr and Mrs! Now let’s rewind 8 years, Eliza was one of the VERY FIRST clients to hire me not long after I moved to Tumut. I photographed her and Heath, who at the time was only 10 months old! (i’ll dig some of those photos up…) She trusted me, has been one of my biggest supporters and watching her family and love for Jayden grow has been such an honour!! I knew this day was so important to her and for me it was like photographing an old friend *cue happy tears*
So Eliza and Jayden had a small ceremony on private property, then celebrated with family and friends back at their home in Albury that evening – though her guests thought it was “just a party” then SURPRISE, they’re actually married! (though, a few guests had an inkling it was going to happen) 🥲
They DIY’ed most of their day which made it feel so wholesome and relaxed, Eliza made the photo booth backdrop *EPIC* by the way! I have to mention the food van, Heart to Cart served up the most delicious nachos – delish!
The weather was cold and windy (nothing new, hey 2022) but at the last minute, the sun came out just before it was meant to set and we RAN (literally) across to the park next to their home and managed some beautiful sunny portraits in the space of like 10 minutes – AHH PHEW!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!!!
Enjoy some favourites of their day – FINALLY! 🥲
