I don’t even know where to begin with these guys!?

Well, I actually I’ll start when I first met them after I photographed their proposal (yup, pre-covid life, way back) and I instantly fell in love with Theresa’s bubbly personality and beautiful smile, and James’ sense of humour and kindness!

So when they asked me to photograph their wedding I was SO honoured and ridiculously excited! 

Fast forward to 2021, and after a bunch of re-shuffling and rescheduled wedding dates (no one needs to say why, *cough* Covid you party ruiner) – they finally got married (and had that epic party!)

Their wedding was at Nimbo Fork Lodge, just outside of Tumut and it’s one of my favourite venues to photograph at! The team at White Top Venues ALWAYS put on a flawless show, with every inch of the day, perfect! (friends, get yourself a wedding planner – you won’t regret it)

There are so many elements and moments to this day that are just way too good not to share. Did you know the groom James, did the design work for every sign, artwork and basically anything with words on it – for their entire day?! #epic and that Theresa’s dress was custom made to have the sleeves removable after the ceremony?! *mind blown* 

Should I even mention the food from Three Blue Ducks…? Ummm *drool*

I think this day was especially special for lots of personal reasons too, as it was my first “post-Covid wedding” where a BUNCH (like a good chunk of people) couldn’t attend because of overseas travel restrictions. Which meant some of Theresa’s family, friends and loved ones couldn’t make it. They live-streamed most of the day (thanks to technology) and had the wonderful Andrew from Bottle Brush Films there too! (Keep an eye out for that video, it’ll be epic) 

Okay, enough of my rambling. This day was just AMAZING, and I’m so thankful, grateful and happy I was able to capture this day for them and their loved ones. Enjoy this blog, ya’ll – it’s big!
