Hey friends! How has it taken me SO long to blog this gorgeous family session?! This session was photographed pre-lockdown and post-fire, so bang smack in the middle of this craziness!
Literally one of my favourite families in the world! If you don’t know this couple, you’re missing out! And if you do, I don’t have to convince you that they’re some of the nicest, most genuine and coolest people you’ve ever met!
Tim and Paula are some of the best parents I’ve ever photographed too! They were totally keen on playing with the kids, getting all smoochy for their portraits and just downright wanted to have fun! I remember when Paula contacted me months and months ago, her email went something like this
“I’ve wanted these photos from you for years Roslyn, I love your work, I want to book you in you tell me when and where and let’s do it! Oh, and I need to bring hot chips for the dogs!” (haha, keep reading)
The love they have for their kids and their dogs is simply beautiful, honestly. It’s one of my favourite things about my job, watching parents and children interact together. If I give you a comfortable space, teach you how to absolutely rock your photo session, and let you know that you can totally 100% be yourself, pure magic happens!
Paula joked at one point that the dogs are just as important as the kids, and she wasn’t wrong! They’re amazing, just look at them! What you don’t see in these images, is the giant bag of hot chips on the ground that worked as bribery for the dogs (and sometimes the kids)!
Now if you don’t know Tim, he owns the local Tumut River Brewery and it’s one of my favourite places to eat and drink! You HAVE to try their Ginja Ninja!! Even Nala the dog is famous at the brewery!!!
Ahh seriously, just enjoy some of these images. I love this family so much and I’m so grateful that the universe brings me beautiful families (inside and out) that I can photograph!
