Aww man, I don’t even know where to start with this one. These two are long time friends of ours (I first met Kristy 5 years ago when I moved to Tumut and Rey introduced us) and I’ve now photographed SO much of their life milestones since then.
It truly is a blessing to watch your friends grow as parents and as a family. When you become a Mum (or a Dad) for the first time, your friendship circles change so quickly, and it’s not always what we expect. Our relationships with people shift with the crazy seasons of parenting and it’s ever-evolving, but always full of joy!
As I’ve photographed these two (now three, soon to be four) many times over the years, I’m continually reminded of why I love my “job” and how capturing these beautiful memories truly lights me up inside and gives me purpose. Nothing beats the smiles on their faces, that “oh my gosh look at those!” responses when they first see their images, and the “awwwws” when they see their babies photographed. Sorry for the rant, I just love what I do and how it makes people feel.
Enjoy, this is probably one of my favourite family sessions, ever.
