I’m struggling to find the right words for this one, folks. It was one of those, you had to be there/see it/hear it kind of days and I really hope these images do justice to how incredibly amazing this day was.
Jess and Mark’s wedding will go down as an all-time favourite I’m sure. I remember chatting to Jess about her and Mark getting married what feels like years ago, they originally wanted to elope! (It’s a great idea!) But when writing a list of all the everyone they’d love to invite, they simply couldn’t bring themselves to be away from their favourite people and miss the chance to have ONE GIANT PARTY. And oh boy, did they pull it off PERFECTLY.
I’m honestly lost for words. Both Rey and I were invited as guests as well, so not only did I get to photograph/watch and be witness to their marriage, but we also go to eat/drink and party with some of our closest friends too!
Also, here’s a few words from the Mr and Mrs themselves, trying to add more value to these blog posts for your future brides and grooms! Enjoy!!
Tell us about your wedding day… A dream come true! Surrounded by our family and friends in the most surreal of locations, the weather absolutely turned it on for us! Couldn’t have been more perfect!
Do you have any advice for future couples? Do it your way. Don’t feel pressured to stick to tradition or sweat the small stuff. Also, do your research and invest in an awesome photographer and videographer. The day goes SO quickly and the memories, photos and videos are all that will remain!
If you could do it all again, what would you change? Not a thing. It was all we’ve ever dreamt of and more.
One thing you never want to forget from your wedding day? The reaction of our friends and family when the surprise fireworks started. It was like time stood still as everyone just stopped and took in the moment. Magical!
