Last week Jenna and Scott invited me into their home to photograph their family and their newest sweetest little addition, Amelia Rose. I absolutely LOVE these kinds of sessions! There’s something so special about photographing a family inside their home. It’s their safe place and their happy place. By being invited in, with all the craziness and love, there’s so much more room for genuine snuggles, laughter and fun – you just don’t get that kind of warm goodness outside in public!

So even with her big brother and sister running around, playing games and making ALL OF THE NOISE, little Amelia slept the entire session! Haha! Now anyone who has toddlers or pre school aged kids will know just how crazy they can be and how hard it is to get them together for a sweet smiley family photo! BUT, I loved watching these two play together, run around the house, eating all the chocolate (bribery, cough) and eventually, by giving them space and time to relax, their little personalities came out shining and they were so sweet and fun! Ahhh, Jenna and Scott it was such an honour to photograph this special time in your lives… enjoy a few of my favourites!
